Our Service: Argyll & Bute Women’s Aid is a specialist provider of support for women, children & young people who have experienced domestic abuse. Our service is free, confidential and independent, and we are affiliated to Scottish Women’s Aid.

 

Role Due to a retirement and service development we are looking to recruit a new management team for Argyll Bute Women’s Aid. (ABWA)

 

The successful Service Manager candidate will be an experienced manager with a proven track record in ensuring the delivery of high-quality services. The Manager will have excellent organisational and leadership skills.  They will have experience of working in a fast-paced environment and will have the ability to prioritise and delegate tasks effectively. They will have experience of developing and delivering to strategic and project plans, applying for funding and budget management.

 

The successful Team Leader candidate will have experience of supporting and managing a team and will have a calm and focused approach to service delivery and problem solving.  Working in our busy, fast-paced and challenging environment, you must be capable of navigating competing demands on your time, while carrying out day to day direct line management responsibilities for our experienced and dedicated support staff, and will have experience in providing direct support services to vulnerable people.  Our ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, solution focused individual with a high degree of self-motivation and ability to motivate others.
